Your the child of a vet when....

In honor of Father's Day I decided to write a blog about all the funny and weird things that I love about being the daughter of a vet.

1. You have 2 thermometers in your house....one for humans and one for dogs. You actually use the one for dogs more then people would think.
2. Throughout your life you planned on being a vet or actually became one. 
3. You love all animals and all animals love you. This is so true that you have never met a pet that hasn't liked you.
4. People will ask you questions about their dogs and you have the answers for them. You check with your parent anyway, but they just inform you that you were correct.
5. Nothing in life makes you sick to your stomach or squeamish. You got past all that by the age of 3, because you were always around things that people would find gross.
6. Talking about diseases or bodily issues isn't a big deal. You grew up talking about it at the dinner table and nothing makes you loose your appetite. 
7. You have a personal vet you can call anytime of day when you have pet issues. Plus they will examine them for free....this one just rocks.
8. They let you and your siblings have any pet they want, but with a few exceptions like snakes. 
9. Everyone knows that my dad is a vet that specializes in swine. One weird thing about me is I would totally have a normal pig as a pet (not a potbelly pig or a teacup pig - that's just weird) if they didn't get so big. They are like dogs, but sometimes smarter.
10. You probably really like zoo's because of the animals. This is actually my favorite place to go. 
11. Speaking of zoo's. You may have watched the movie We Bought A Zoo and wished that was you growing up.

Those are just some fun things I like about being the daughter of a vet. I hope you have a great Father's Day dad...Love you!

What is a loyal customer?

So you have probably heard me mention becoming a loyal customer. What does that mean? First off, let me tell you about the benefits.

Requirements

So you know all about these companies right? They have minimums and requirements each month which makes it really hard to be affordable. This company is different! We are here to help you, not make you broke. There is one requirement for becoming a loyal customer. That is pay the $50 membership fee OR commit to a 3 month auto-shipment which is set up on your first order. I recommend the auto-shipment because you get to put that $50 toward a product. That is almost an entire box of wraps!

Auto-Shipment

So now your wondering well what is an auto-shipment.  An auto-shipment means just that. It is an order that will automatically be processed on a date of your choosing. PLUS the most amazing part is you can change the product(s) each month and you can change the day it ships...AND your card is charged for the product on the day it ships. That means you are not paying up front for 3 months worth of products.

Becoming an It Works Distributor

I'm looking for determined individuals to be a part of my team. All you have to do is take the first step. It took me a month to finally decide to become a distributor. You know what I learned....I should have signed up sooner!

How much do I have to buy to become a distributor?

To be a distributor all you have to do is buy the business builder kit that costs $99. It includes resources to help you succeed as well as a box of wraps. The box of wraps will get you $100 which pays for the kit. There is no risk! To remain a distributor all you have to do is set up your auto-shipment that has 80 bv (which is roughly $80) which is shipped to you each month. Try it for a month before your auto-shipment and see what happens. I ended up moving mine up to get some product to me faster!

What if I fail?

The only person who can allow you to fail is yourself. You have to want to want it. I will be there to help you every step of the way, but I can't do everything for you. It's like any other business; it takes work. You need to join with the mindset that you will succeed. If you think you will fail then you probably will. If you join and then think oh no I can't do this...just give me a call or message me and I will help you through. 

Its a "Pyramid Scheme" and a scam.

Wrong! Here is the definition of pyramid scheme. "A pyramid scheme is an unsustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public." Well first off we have a product that we sell that is amazing. Second, you don't have to enroll anybody into your business. You could be the only person selling and still make money! Oh plus you can outrank the person who signed you. This means say you joined and promoted to a level above me. It doesn't matter...that just means you'll make more money than me. Convinced yet?

The most amazing thing that I found out on my first day as a distributor is that A LOT of people haven't heard of it. We need to spread the word! No one is "too fat" for It Works products!

My first blog about this company was going to be about why I joined and my results, but this seemed to take priority. I have been a distributor for not even a week and have heard this said multiple times. No one is "too fat or too large" for our products. That statement couldn't be more wrong!

You can't expect our products to fix all your problems by themselves. You have to want and try to have a lifestyle change. You need to eat healthier, take vitamins, and even work out some. Our products help you see those results that will push you to reach your ultimate goal.

Even I have tried working out endlessly and have not gotten the results that I wanted.  I wish during that time someone would have told me about It Works. Our Garden

I decided that this year I wanted to attempt a garden. Well this is how our little plants are doing! I didn't want to tear up the yard so I decided on container planting. It's ridiculously easy...I just let them do their own thing.

Well my cucumber/zucchini got a little fried, but the new growth is green so we are good! haha

My biggest issue was figuring out how much to plant for myself and somewhat Curt. Guess I'll find out.

I haven't really looked at my broccoli (above) and cauliflower (below), but they are already growing!

Of course I have tomatoes. These things rock. In the above picture are my cherry tomatoes and below are a roma tomato plant and a regular tomato plant. I probably have way to many tomatoes, but Buttercup will be more than willing to help me consume any that I don't want.

I was taking pictures and looked to realize she was watching me. I feel that its kind of like having kids. She follows me everywhere, but that's just her way of loving me. :)

Camping Trip

For Memorial Day weekend Curt and I went camping! Originally my parents made the reservation, but then my dad's schedule didn't work out the way they planned. Curt and I were okay with taking it. :) It was fun, and we hooked up the camper and everything without any big issues which is always a plus!

Dash was good at sharing a seat with Buttercup. Buttercup on the other hand hogged at least 2/3 of the backseat. They were troopers.

She was patiently waiting for us at the clinic to get the camper ready to go.

Setting up didn't take too long, but its a lot to remember. Luckily, I have gone on many camping trips with my parents and knew most of it.

Campfires and s'mores! Two of my favorite things.

Breakfast the next morning...Bacon, eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns!

This tripod thing is awesome. I recommend everyone getting one, because we used it a lot in three days.

Dash was reluctant to lay on the dirt. He is now spoiled by being in the house with us.

Just hoping for some food to be dropped.

She preferred the air conditioned camper to the outdoors.

On Saturday Carter and Jasper came to visit us!

Our nephews are getting so big!

Of course my dad, or as Jasper calls him Papa Tom, took him fishing at the pond.
