So many people that will read this may already seen these pictures, but I thought I'd share some engagement photos. Here is a photo from the night we got engaged.
Yay! So the story of how he proposed is actually funny, which fits us. He came over on April 2, 2012. We had previously said that we were going to celebrate Easter early, I just didn't know we were going to that night until he came over. I had a night class on Monday's so he surprised me by coming over after my class. I was in a terrible mood because I hated my professor and she had really made me mad that night. Anyway, he said something like "I have something that will cheer you up" and told me that he brought my Easter present. It was an Easter basket with candy and chocolate so I immediately started looking through it. Inside toward the bottom was a key that I had given him in high school, it was supposedly "the key to my heart" (so corny right?!). I actually handed it to him and said "I think you dropped this in here". I heard what he said afterward but didn't process it. He had said, "I was going to ask for your whole heart tonight". Me, not paying attention said "Oh no you can keep it". Well I meant the key and now realize how oblivious I was. After that was when
he stood up and took the ring box out of his pocket. All I remember after that was me saying "Are you serious" and him asking me to marry him. I actually had to ask afterword if I said yes. Haha I still laugh about it because I was way too focused on my candy at first. Well this is my beautiful ring! I love it!!!!! It is so perfect for me.

The band is so gorgeous with it too...only 10 days till I get to wear it!! |
Now fast forward 8 months and we are only 10 days from the wedding. I
think everything is done or planned, if not we will figure it out as we
go. I am doing my best to not worry about every detail because the
memorable stuff is always the unplanned, went wrong things. Now for some
engagement photos! I absolutely LOVE our photographer. She is very nice
and it wasn't awkward for a moment. Even Curt said he was glad I chose
her (Never thought that would happen). Taking engagement photos is not
his thing, probably most men are like that. Afterwards he actually
admitted that he had fun taking pictures.

All of our pictures were taken at Curt's parents land in Brook, IN. |

This one is a favorite to most. It definitely suits us. P.s. bringing the guitar was his idea. |
Now that you have seen some of her photos, her name is Samantha Mitchell. She lives in Rensselaer,IN and will travel anywhere. Her price doesn't even go up for the travel, yet. I assume if she gets more popular she will have to charge. Her website is http://www.samanthamitchellphoto.com/. Like I said, she is amazing and you won't regret one penny!
