Pumpkin Carving

Last night we carved our pumpkins. Yes we did 5 pumpkins because each dog had to have one...plus it gives me an excuse to carve more than one!!

All ready to go!

Just waiting on Curt and checking the camera angle.

Woohoo! Pumpkin Carving time!

For those wondering...the saran wrap holds the stencil in place.

Walter was a huge fan of pumpkin carving. Once we finished one that meant he could lick it for 20 minutes straight.

Walter and his little pumpkin!

Yes he ate that one too.

Dash enjoyed licking the pumpkins as well.

Ohh yeah he is proud of his bat pumpkin

We ran out of easy stencils so Buttercup's pumpkin got an old fashioned pumpkin. This is our real carving talent. hahaha Stencils are a life saver.

Curt's finished pumpkin

My pumpkin! I couldn't decide on a picture so I did two.

So then we decided to try roasting pumpkin seeds. So easy and yummy!

Walter!

Okay here are tons of pictures of our newest addition, Walter! He is seriously the best puppy and keeps us entertained now. I am very proud that he is pretty much potty trained. We have a few accidents, but he even rings a bell when he has to go! :)

The very first day we got him!

Checking out Curt

He used to nap a lot...we aren't so lucky anymore. haha

First time seeing a squeaky toy.

He loved Buttercup from the very first day.

Dash was not so sure about this guy when we brought him home.

I can't get over how cute he is!

Of course we got him a sweater!

Glove compartments are also comfy places to sleep.

I think Dash has finally come around to the little guy. They even play tug of war together!

The light is too bright...must stick head under pillow.

He is getting bigger! He has actually gained a pound since we got him, but lets hope he doesn't get too much bigger. :)

Fall Morning Beauty

I take my dogs out yesterday morning and I just had to go back in for my camera. I love nature and this is probably why. I love capturing peaceful, silent moments like this. One day I will be able to wake up and enjoy mornings like this instead of hurrying and getting to work, but its always good to take a step back and enjoy whats around you!

I am so happy that I didn't get the chance to move these flowers inside. I love the frosted look of them!

No there is no editing on these pictures. A good quality camera is worth every cent! Thanks Curt...you rock!!

The view from our front porch. I never get tired of it! I always have a view when I take the dogs out. :)
